Peter "Mean Pete" Kowalsky of Remembering Never, Ether Coven, and many more has sadly passed away. No official statement from his current bands have yet surfaced, though tributes have begun to pour in from across the metal and hardcore world.
Kowalsky was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in early 2020. Kowalsky issued a positive statement in 2021 saying he was in remission, and even got on stage with Shai Hulud at Furnace Fest 2021. We wish Kowalsky's friends and family all the best at this time, and thank Kowalsky himself for all the fantastic music over the years.
