TOOL Fans Postpones Their Own Wedding To Go See TOOL, Bride Obviously Pissed Off

This might be the most Tool fan thing to do.

Tool Wedding

This might be the most Tool fan thing any Tool fan has ever done, if it's true. And there's a small part of us that hopes it is.

One poor bastard took to the band's Reddit page to ask for advice on what to do after trying to postpone their wedding to go see Tool. The person claims they and their bride-to-be got into the "worst fight of our lives" and now she's living with her parents. "Postpones" also might be a strong word for what happened here, as this whole situation feels pretty irredeemable.

"So me and my wife are getting married (unfortunately) on the third of October which is the day tool will be in our town of Loveland,CO," wrote u/Past_Salamander5361. "So I told my wife I don’t want to be married on the third because tool was in town. That lead to the worst fight of our lives and she went to go live with her parents and it seems that all her relatives are on her side what should I do."

There are a lot of pretty funny comments below the original post, though "Go to the concert. You no longer have plans" really takes the cake. One person also offered a very reasonable comment that basically boiled down to "hey, don't fuck this up."

"Dude – as someone who was married and divorced – my wedding day was one of the best days of my life," they wrote. "The fact that you’re upset that you’re going to miss a concert because of your wedding is mind blowing to me and your soon to be (hopefully) wife is right to be upset. Tool will play again. You hopefully only get married once. I mean this in the most loving way possible – stop being selfish and understand that you are marrying your best friend which I would take ANY day over seeing a band. Sheesh."
